ABOUT THE ROLE

Facility Maintenance Supervisor Summary Clean Harbors is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and keep facility equipment and systems operating safely and reliably. This role oversees preventive maintenance and repairs while working alongside the team to troubleshoot equipment issues. Hours: Monday - Friday Pay Range: $48,750 to $93,804 Responsibilities • Perform and oversee electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance and repairs, pumps • Maintain facility equipment and systems, and ensure preventive maintenance is completed on schedule. • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assemble or replace components according to manufacturer requirements. • Maintain an inventory of spare and critical parts. • Supervise maintenance employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance feedback, and accountability. • Ensure maintenance work follows health and safety procedures, facility requirements, and applicable compliance standards. • Operate a forklift when needed and maintain a clean work area. • Perform other duties based on business needs. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 5–7 years of relevant maintenance experience, including plant or industrial maintenance and supervisory experience. • Experience in more than one of the following: welding, mechanical repair, instrumentation, electrical work, piping, or hydraulics. • Forklift training • Working knowledge of plant electrical equipment, preventive maintenance systems, and spare-parts inventory. • Ability to work well with a team and use Windows-based applications. • Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing and walking during the shift and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional lifting of 51–100 pounds may be required. • Ability to travel less than 10% of the time. • Welding certification preferred but not required Clean Harbors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
